Neem Soap
There is a tree that grows in abundance in India and it is from this tree, called the neem tree, from which oil is extracted that helps in making neem soap. In fact, almost eighty percent of neem oil goes into the production of such soaps.
Neem oil is obviously a major ingredient that goes into the making of the neem soap. It is not as many people think an additive but is the actual basis on which the soap is made. Such soaps provide a number of benefits.
This is because neem oil contains insecticidal properties and it is also anti fungal as well as antibacterial. Best of all, this oil is also a wonderful moisturizer and it is also very soothing. So, when you apply the neem soap to your skin, it will benefit in many ways not least of which is the soothing effect that you will feel.
There are certain skin ailments that can best be treated with neem oil soap. In fact, this soap has been used for many centuries and so is a proven commodity. This soap can help to treat scabies, acne and psoriasis as well as helps to prevent ulcers and infections and it can also be used to treat skin problems among pet animals.
However, as with any other product, this one also has a few drawbacks. These drawbacks will affect you but only if you do not use the soap in the proper manner. The biggest problem with such soaps is when you buy one that has cheap ingredients in it. Such soaps only say that they are made from neem oil but in fact contain very little of it and so are not worth purchasing.
A good such soap is one that contains at least twenty percent neem oil but you can also go for those that contain between 30 and 40 percent of neem oil.
